The reason for why I say 'stick to basics', is because the less you have floating around in your head during the pick up the better. Mystery had a great idea in breaking down the attraction and pick up model down into steps, I believe he dropped the ball when he started introducing more linear concepts such as routines and DHVs etc which forces the PUA to actively recall the line, gimmick etc and he loses state. Every pick up follows an abstract model of progression, not a linear model. You don't always have to build attraction or comfort to get laid but some time after it both of those aspects will be fulfilled if you choose to keep sleeping together. Instead of THINKING (which is the death of a PU) I'm advocating to instead have a set of 4 or 5 principles that work FOR YOU and understand and apply them really well into your game. The more flexible and well rounded your game is the more adaptable you are. The more adaptable you are the more you're likely to succeed. Adaptability comes through social insight and previous success with the LONG TERM, not immediate goal of sleeping with a LARGE amount of women, not a SINGLE one. This achieves two things: first it places you in an abundant mindset right away because you don't want a single, wo-man you want a LARGE amount of Voronezh women. Secondly you give yourself permission to be rejected sometimes and not carry the fallacy that you need to be perfect in order to sleep with the women you want.
